The Flower FIeld
We are grow our own cut flowers on land we are renting in Banwell. This is at Home Farm on Silvermoor lane. The flowers are organically grown in a lovely south facing position. We are hoping to grow enough to cover our demand, supply others and also sell bunches of flowers for others to arrange at home.
This year we grew Sunflowers, Cosmos, Sweet Peas, Dahlias, Nicotiana, Pinks, Scabious, and Echinacea.
We have increased the field size by a third and have lots of tulips, anemones, ranunculi, alliums and narcissi in the ground ready for a new season.
